Visual feedback for brightness/contrast/color edits was made faster. Erratic mouse drag in warp function was fixed. Color balance was separated from brightness/whiteness adjustments. Bug fix: last translation in a .po file sometimes got comment appended. Sharpen, blur and noise reduction, when applied within an image area, can blend the boundaries. Added a modified "top hat" noise reduction method, which is more effective for some types of noise.

Papyrus is a 2D C++ scenegraph (canvas) library similar in concept to Gnome Canvas, and utilizes the cairomm library to perform drawing operations.

Some of the nice changes of this release are some memory leak fixes, an improved "No results found" screen, and automatic searching for hiragana/katakana versions of results when possible. Other things are improvements in the rpm and deb generation. Doing a distcheck on the tarball no longer requires root privelages. In general, the install process was made more portable.
